We don't just cater for computer hardware at Datalab, in fact we are often approached by many different industries and organisations to assist when they have run of people to turn to. Such was the case when Datalab was approached by the Yellow Eyed Penguin trust with a damaged Electronic Passive ID tracker. A penguin that had unfortunately had passed away was located but the tracker had been damaged.
The team at Datalab have extensive backgrounds in the electronics industry and were able to carefully rebuild the core components of the tracker. Once partially operable, an image or dump of the tracker was completed and the ID recovered from the devices memory.
